For LBB, you have to see it in person and on the M2, it was sweet. Seen it before on a X5M and really didn't like it but seeing it today makes me think about changing my color choice.

Oh, i was also able to sit inside the car. I just asked nicely and said i had one on order and no problem, doors were open
That's awesome!! Ill use that line as well so hopefully they let me sit inside haha

Maybe I'll see some of you there! We need some shirts or caps or something!

Did you find an allocation?

Don't be that guy at an intersection standing at the end of line of cars when there is an open lane right next to you !

I saw on another thread that there is At least one dealer in Texas that hasn't sold their launch car.

If I didn't have an allocation, and wanted an M2, I would be calling Wichita Falls, Lubbock, Midland, and El Paso, and then expand outside the state , targeting dealers in small to mid size cities ...

I did the same this morning and Michael let me in to sit straight away. The CF trim looks great and should be very easy to maintain.

They then locked it back up and the crowds came in. Hand prints and grubby kids all over it.

Stood and watched people after people trying the handle, seeing the previous person and still going up and trying to open it.......WTF!!...Stupid.

Oh and the young boy who hung off the half opened window....i thought he was going to snap it out

Glad you also got to sit inside! I liked the CF trim a lot too, way better than the glossy CF trim in the M3/M4.

Haha that also happened to me. Once i was done sitting inside, it was locked again and person after person came up trying to open the door and denied, too funny.

Thanks, got a MG, DCT with manual seats on order in UK for Jan 17 delivery when we return to UK from US. Will get a chance to test drive white DCT demo from local dealer when it arrives.

I liked the LBB more than i expected but the MG with IND black chrome bits will be stealth. Looking forward to good old brittish back roads with this toy👍

Excellent choice getting MG! I have MG now on my 135 and love the color but i want to get something different and went with AW. But after seeing LBB in person, now i'm thinking of changing my choice.

Finally saw the M2! Damn it's a beauty. Although the front end looks way less aggressive than it does in pictures. Still amazing nonetheless. And I'm definitely sold on LBB. Love it in person and especially on the M2.

One of the quick pics that I took. Ended up getting there late (but got in for free so that was cool). Just shows how damn wide it is from that angle. I'm in love haha

It certainly appeared to me to be "just blue" like the Estoril under the lights of the auto show this weekend. I was hoping it would actually be the teal/aquamarine color in this Top Gear link. I actually prefer the more sea foam greenish blue that the press photos have shown so was a bit disappointed to see that this was much closer to the standard Estoril.

Ok that's horrible lighting then.
OMG That does look like Estoril. LBB shimmers and stands out way more than Estoril in comparison, if one likes a flashier vehicle

FYI the M2 is just 0.6 inches narrower than an M4.
So yup, it's wide.

The 'brand specialist' there told me there was no Euro Delivery available for the M2. He also said I can only buy one if I'm lucky.

I think she got the shade of LBB wrong judging by her shoes, Unless we need to see her in direct sunlight

I have to say I was really disappointed when the colors for this car came out. The only color I cared for at all was LBB but my preferences are are for darker blues. However I have seen LBB in natural and artificial light and in person it looks better. It is a color that changes as lighting conditions change. Still not my favorite BMW color but I think it is the best of the options we have.

That's because LBB is the only "color " the car is offered in ... As the other options all make up the gray scale ... So you've adapted.
