I just looked up what a Stealth Film is. I wonder how that would look with a LBB Paint - Would it actually make the car look more Blue than teal?

I agree! That SS M4 looks F'in sick with Xpel Stealth. I think it would look really good TBH. I feel like it'd be a different sort of "Frozen Blue". Could be very unique!

Stealth would be the shiznits with Mineral Grey. I've also seen pics with white that looked pretty good but a satin pearl wHite would look the best.

I saw that. I might do a satin grey wrap in a year or so if I can scrape up the money.

The more and more I'm looking at the LBB and the amount of research I have been doing on wraps.

- I think i'm going to actually add the black gloss roof wrap. especially if i'm going to tini the windows. Should look good. Need to project how it will come out.

I am going to do my LBB in stealth. I was at our annual CCA dinner and the dealer had a frozen white M6 GC, wow. I am also scared of the teal factor which I think the stealth will mitigate.

Thought I read someone say that the cars at the auto shows had paint protection on the rear arches already... maybe this is just for the show cars.

Since I'm doing an F35 build.... I think I need a stealth wrap. How much is Xpel stealth for the full car? Any cheaper alternatives?

No, that's a stock feature on every M2.

And of all four colors, dirt will be a bit more visible on the borderline of the film on an AW M2.

I'm thinking of doing the same, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to drop $5K plus...I think I will at least get the full front done in clear first. I will think about doing the full satin wrap down the line. I can't wait to see yours as it will probably make my decision that much easier, haha.

I'm considering trying to get a sample of the stealth and applying it to a panel and then taking photos.

I've put XPEL ultimate on my last two cars and very happy that I did. No yellowing and the warranty is really good. I always just do the front clip. if you have a white car, the only chance of yellowing it would be exhaust fumes on the rear bumper if you decide to fully wrap. this was a huge complaint with catless Nissan GTR owners running regular gas back when I had my GTR.

hey thanks!! haha...I think it was the exact car in the pic above (Richy rich) had his MG done and then I saw the frozen white at my dealer. I have never seen a frozen color in person before so I was pretty impressed.

I'm worried about maintenance, the cost sucks but I think I only want to do 3-4 things with this car.

I think Frozen Paint is harder to maintain than a Frozen (aka Stealth) Wrap. The good thing about the wrap is it (1) Protects the original paint (2) Easier to wash off bird crap, bugs, etc (3) Has a 10 year warranty if you go with Xpel. I've heard from owners that washing/detailing the car is easier and less time consuming with a wrap. It's interesting, but man it's hard to swallow the $5K plus price tag. I am already at the top end of my budget owning the car itself (And I'm a poor who didn't order the DCT/Exec Pkg )

Are you guys saving the car for the next guy? I LOVE to wash and wax my cars and the thought of washing and waxing plastic film is weird. Do you ever take it off? Means nothing at resale and blemishes can always by fixed. I can see bumpers and mirrors maybe but what am I missing here?

I think the main appeal for some is the frozen look, which you can get for $5 grand with a good wrap, but costs much more with a good repaint.

Actually saving the car for myself--not someone else. When front clip, full bonnet and mirrors are covered at least in clear, you still can wax as normal and there are no chips to deal with. You follow someone and the "chips" fall where they will, pun intended--and the first one leads to some more. Filling in those little spots never looks as nice. AND when I sell it, I can get the money back with just one look at it.

Had my M235 done as above, and now two years to the month, its perfect, and easily washed and waxed at will. No yellowing. Worth every penny.

I might actually first do a OPTI Clear Coat just to get through the month while I find the right vendor to do the front XPEL.

I haven't decided if i want to do Frozen, so I shouldn't do a full wrap just yet. Get as much protection as possible. I'll probably still do the Black Gloss Roof.
