What BMW representatives said at SEMA 2015 in an interview about M2 M Performance Parts:
See here: Q: Any chance we'll see M Performance Seats available for order?See also here: Q: Will M Performance seats be available for the M2?

I had them in my E92. They were comfortable for what they are. Still would like a folding carbon bucket from BMW. Shit would sell like crazy.

Came across this photo of standard black M4 seats with blue contrast stitching on f80 forum.
Call me crazy, but I think it will look good in the M2. Hopefully the shoulder and side bolsters will not causing any problem to fit these seats in the M2 |

Well maybe with the M2 angled mounting they will fit in width wise... But based on the BMW seat back and height drawings i have seen I would be concerned about the seat folding forward if that is needed. |

Recaro is still making the similar version, but I always like the OEM M4 seats. I've been researching on swapping the M4 seats to my M2 (based on F22 M235i) once it arrives. The M4 seats should be a direct bolt-on, given they share the same base (frame/plastic cover, etc.). I have been looking for the width of the back rest (shoulder/ side bolsters) to further confirm on the fitment. By looking at the photo, the M2 should have enough room. |

For whatever reason, Sportsters with airbags aren't sold here. Despite the M Performance seats with airbags being available once upon a time. |
