Change pickup from out of state to PCD

Hi, I just order a M2C from out of state (LA). I live in PA. The car is still in schedule to production stage. I asked the dealer if they can change the delivery to PCD (SC) instead. But they told me it's too late to change.

I dont have a great relationship with this dealer, since we back and forth a lot on the pricing after I agreed with their markup. So long story short, I think they are lying about it to just mess with me.

So anyone know at which stage, I can still allow to change to PCD?

I think they are lying to you. My dealer didn't need PDC delivery confirmation until the car moved to In Production and VIN was assigned. Once the car completed production, she then confirmed PDC date.

Id push for it. First, it's a lot of fun. Second, shorter drive home. The only downside, PDC adds a few weeks to you actually getting car since they only do 8 cars a day.

so just a FYI, as long as your statue is 150 or before, you can change it.

My CA may still have an allocation available for MSRP if you're interested. Great guy to deal with.

This will be my fourth PCD. I did 2 ED as well. So what changed in the COVID time? Love to hear more. You said it's 8 car per day, so u know what it was as pre-COVID? Do they still have factory tour?

Don't know about pre Covid days as I've only been there once earlier this month. They still had the factory tour.
