But you had your facts straight . Sort of. Not Because the M2 just looks better, is cheaper, has a better sound(MPE) drives better, steers better, has shorter braking distances , has a better balance, has 30hp less and weighs a few tons more and can easily keep up on the twisties we just prefer it to the TT RS that's all Anyway you made your point a few times. Now it's time to say goodbye amigo. You did your job. Gracias and better go and find some Audi TT forum . We had our fun. But now it's time the adults take over. Thank you . Cheers Robin |

You mention that is streets and brakes etc. better, yet on ALL MARGINS it is slower, so you should simply say "I think it is probably funner, even though it is slower". You're barely an adult and biased up the wazoo I did my research, all that needs to be done is test drive the TT RS. I tested the M2 and it was fun, but the interior AND exterior, with its price tag made me feel like: "this is it?" Instant 2-series quality is just unacceptable for me, that's all. Remember, I live in a tropical paradise unlike you, we get higher taxes! |

As for the video with the AMG:
The Driver/journalist was not a professional, like, you know a track? Where the TT RS was faster in all for them? Sorry! How about you post a video comparing exhausts? How about you post some lap times? You know you will lose Again, not talking about fun, just about facts and common sense, 2 things you seem to be lacking the grasp of. |

Driving cars like Cayman M2 and TT RS is all about facts and nothing about emotion. Thats why you want them and buy them. Because of the paper facts. Not because one car feels better or gives more satisfaction than the other. That doesn't count
A Veyron is faster than an F40 or McLaren F1 or Ruf CTR.... Cheers Robin |

Looks amazing modded too.
A car that has an amazing exterior, interior, sounds amazing and is fastest yet safest? Sign me up! My paradise? Perennial summer, best beaches in the world, everything except the cars is cheaper than in the US but same quality and food is A-MA-ZING! We also have one of the highest count of sportscars per country population in the world! Tons of tuners, several speedways and tracks. Many people from the US travel to PR to compete, its pretty great. And the girls, well I'm sure you can imagine. Last edited by M2GranCoupeOLEDlights; 03-14-2017 at 04:10 PM.. |

Say what you want, the TT for me has historically been a hairdressers car much like the Z4 and the SLK. |

Just because you say something, and truly believe it, doesn't mean that anyone else must feel the same way. When it comes to tracks, it is important to note things like tire equivalency, same day, same driver, etc...those things matter quite a bit. I am not sure if those equivalencies have been noted in the claims you're making. For example, most pundits believe that a 718 CS would actually be faster around the Ring on the same day with the tires that come standard on a GT4. Does that mean you'd take the 718 CS over the GT4? I know I wouldn't - and while I am sure there are some that would, absolute lap times and 0-60 times aren't what this segment is about. It's about finding the car that fits you, your budget, and your needs.

Actually i do see where this guy is coming from, the TTRS is a marvellous piece of engineering the interior is out of this world with the tech being next level, with all this however, its still and always will be regarded as a Hairdressers car or be it a flight attendants dream
i love my M2 but i am no fan boy, i too agree the M2 lacks in certain areas but you will get that with every car on the market now, there will always be something that is missing or bothers you no matter what brand, make or model. but if i had money to buy a TTRS, then it be a no brainer for me to save a few more months and find a Cayman GT4 |

As fast as it is (very fast), and as nice an interior it has (quite nice), it's still front engine transverse layout with FWD-bias AWD. This platform is shared with the Golf and Audi A3, good cars to be sure, but costing less than a similarly advanced RWD platform with a superior F-R weight distribution. Note that the new Audi RS5 with a longitudinal layout and Torsen 40/60 AWD is 80k euros.

The shape of the TT has always been a bit wrong for a supposed "sports car". It's better in this gen, but still too bulbous and vaguely reminiscent of a new Beetle.
