Yup I did. I'm already lowered with spacers.

Physically, yes. It's an inline plug in before a sensor, so it's really just unplugging the sensor plug and putting the dinan in between. You then zip tie it to a hose. 5 minutes on, 5 off. I have a feeling that this is why Dinan sends 3 zip ties with it.

Now in the computer logging in the car will it leave a trace? From what I've read, it will but someone would have to have a reason to look then they'd have to look pretty deep.

Car a few weeks old with Dinan turbo installed this week. Drove home from work tonight with ear to ear grin the whole way. Have a bad feeling Mr Policeman and I may have a "discussion" in the future.

I like the before better when focusing on the wheels. However, I'm thinking in real life, the car with the gloss black rims have a better overall look. They go better with the rest of the black on the car. I find hyper black or similar colors like gunmetal are not light enough to go with chrome and blue and they're not dark enough to go with black/carbon fiber.

Your choice but I would have stuck with the hyper black.
It contrast the blue perfectly.

Sweet!

Question for you.. is it simple enough to change pads yourself? I'm keen to give it a try and was just going to YouTube it?

Also... do you run spacers on track days? I have them but have been told it's safer not to run them on the track. Any thoughts?

Cheers

Pads on F8x cars are super easy to change out. Remove two pins, take out the old pads and slide in the new pads...replace the bracket and pins and you're done.

Search for Tommy L Garage on YouTube. He's a Bimmerpost forum member whose done a bunch of videos including pad changes

12k service yesterday (@ 11.5). They ordered me a new door sill trim piece as my passenger side one was starting to discolor a touch. Think all they do @ this svc is to change the oil (my oil indicator just came on) and the cabin air filter.

I also put my Dinan sport tuner back on so the car is back to "normal". Rainy for the next 2 days down here so no fun drives for a few days.

Yeah, here's another vote for the before photo... I just like how it looks without the black wheels better, but everyone has their own opinion.

Finally purchased the last part that I need for my M2—cargo liner with bumper protector from Weathertech!

Full weathertech + full XPEL = well protected car inside and out!

So, you were the other LBB M2 driver at the WeatherTech Factory Store in Bolingbrook last Saturday (parked straight opposite the entrance)! I had picked up my floor mats and the same trunk liner, but had to come back, as they forgot to throw the floor hooks into the bag. That is when I saw your car standing there! Congrats!
