"secret" steering mode
Due to another thread going on about lag, I decided to drive home today with dsc off.
There's definitely a difference to the engine, but putting that aside, there is an unexpectedly massive difference to the steering! I have coded my car og m2 to the F87CS steering, so effectively have the m2c steering setup. The steering feel with dsc off is really very good - it feels like it's raw - by that I mean it feels like all the feedback is coming through without any digital filtering. It also has more weight than any of the other modes. I really like it! It makes the car feel more old skool and less like a car from the digital age. Next job is to try and get this coded permanently..... |

1) find some quirk with the car that might possibly be fixed by a software update 2) get an end of warranty check done as it seems to be policy to apply the latest software (in UK anyway) 3) download the latest psdzdata files and update things yourself |
