There is this one for MPE but on this video the MPE does not sound great, in fact even the stock exhaust sound better.

honestly stock exhaust is loud enough, but if you want really loud then go for Mperformance exhaust

stock exhaust is actually quite loud in person.

Great ! As I do not have the possibility to hear the stock exhaust "in person" I will wait your decision that might also be mine. If the stock exhaust is loud enough I see no real reason to spend $3,500 (+tax) on the MPE. The MPE "track mode" is great but it is for tracks only (in theory...).

by all accounts, from everything i have read, i have yet to see someone say that it is not loud enough...in fact, some already find the stock exhaust too loud! lol

According to the videos I can see on youtube, the stock exhaust really seem to sound great and loud enough, but I would really love to hear it "in person" in order to help me to decide if I really want to spent $3,500 on the MPE or to keep that money for other M Performance parts...

And honestly I do not think that an exhaust system can be "too loud", but the police forces seems to disagree... I've experienced it several times with my last Harley Davidson (with Vince & Hinse Big Radius exhaust) and with my old Porsche 911 Turbo with the Fabspeed super sport exhaust...

you are right...its not so much from a personal point of view but rather what others consider 'too loud' that can cause you trouble..
I have yet to hear one in person too...ive seen all the colours but never heard one...

Looking forward to your impressions. Of particular interest to me is how loud it is under 'normal' driving conditions...does it still stand out or does it blend in with other traffic (thinking about my street and neighbours )

The regular exhaust, under normal driving conditions already stands out enough

The MPE you will hear from miles away haha

From the inside of the car I don't think you will hear a great diffrence between the stock and MPE exhausts (except in track mode of course). What is really matter is the sound from the outside of the car because from the inside you mostly hear fake exhaust sound from the active sound system I guess.

It will be hard for me to judge since I only had a few minutes with an M2 with the MPE and the stock exhaust (stay tuned for my quick post review).

twboy1999, what is your opinion on the stock exhaust, is it loud enough ? I know that "loud enough" can means different things from a person to another, but for example, is it as loud as the stock exhaust system from a Mustang GT ?

It looks like my M2 is being shipped from Halifax to Toronto by truck.The Hansen's website says that my car was dispatched from Halifax today and the shipping mode is truck.BMW must be shipping some cars by truck because of the backlog at the Halifax port.

That is what I am hoping for,that it should be much faster than having the car shipped to Toronto by train.I am just happy that the car is finally on its way to Toronto.I was worried that it might get stuck in Halifax for a few weeks.The car arrived in Halifax on June 1,so it was only there for six days before being shipped out of the port.
