1/43 scale or 1/18 scale M2s on the way ? (M2 diecast thread)

Ordered from Minichamps factory as "available for preorder" on March 16 and delivered on April 11 - not bad, considering it spent a week in U.S. Customs. Arrived by itself in a box intended for 6 models, filled with dense foam rubber sheets and foam peanuts - and was totally crushed on one side, but no harm to model.

1/18 White was originally promoted as an edition of 504, but it came through as 1 of 300 and is now sold out at factory. Retailers and Ebay may have them; other colors are still available from factory.

1/43 White Minichamps from Grand Prix Models is in transit. 1/87 Minichamps is still in preorder status - May or October production, depending on who you believe.

I also received my Alpine White 1:18 model from Minichamps today.Looks great.

Miniatures Minichamps still has one Alpine White Minichamps model in stock.The other colors are all sold out because they were released a year ago.The Alpine White Minichamps 1/18 model was released about a month ago.

Just got a Minichamps 1:18 model, and luckily it's white like mine. I've never gotten this excited over a little toy model.

Not sure if they're going to make more. Minichamps said there's only 300 were made for the AW 1:18.
