Spacers with 255/275

Anyone running them with 255/275 tire sizes? I don't think I want to lower it but I definitely want more poke without rubbing... If you have 18s as well, then please post what spacer setup you're using!

Just put on 255/275 MPS4S on stock wheels today. I'm lowered on MPS.

I brought a set of 5mm spacers (all 4 corners) as I figured my previous spacers (12mm/10mm) would cause the tires to poke out way too far. I should have taken a picture but the new tires were poking out quite a bit.

So far 5mm has been good - drove to work after putting the tires on and no rubbing yet, but I'll have to drive over some hard bumps to make sure.

If you're at stock height I'm pretty sure you'll have no trouble at all.

So you are poking a lot with 5 mm? Or is that with the 12/10 mm?

5mm poke is what I'm looking to do as well. Pictures please. From as many angles as possible.

With 5mm it is perfect - although I think the fronts probably could have used 6-7mm from a fitment POV, but I'm not that picky about it. With 12mm on stock tires I was already rubbing a bit on hard compression so dialing it back a bit may help with that, so that's a plus.

12/10mm definitely poked too much.

I took some pictures yesterday in my garage, but unfortunately didn't really have space to get a side-angle as the other car was there.

275mm on 10j looks perfect in term of stretch/bulge look (M3/4 stock doesn't count because star spec 275mm is really 265mm). And, 5mm poke looks spot on with that kind of stretch/bulge.

Please do take some pictures. I'm especially interested to know how 275/35 looks from side view. I always think 265/35 is already too tall on stock height. 5mm poke and lowering could make a difference.

Star spec PSS is narrower than generic one.

Can you show me proof of this? not trying to be difficult but it seems odd, to say the least.

As Sean stated star spec tires are made specifically for BMW with different face widths for turn in, carcas construction for suspension feel, etc etc. Note that are quite different believe me. But all this is based on completely stock suspension, the moment you make a change, sprains, coilovers etc you cam=n flush all that down the toilet and go with stock spec tires cuz you wasting your money

Ran 255/275 on 513m (18") and 437m (19") with stock height, no problems at all.

Oh nvm! Didn't realize you were asking about spacers. Ran without them and no issues.

So you're keeping the same aspect ratio at 35 front and rear, just going 255 and 275?
