Exactly my thought. I guess being blacked out and purple wheels was inspired by the movie?

The car needs some purple weave carbon fiber.

Uhhhhm... Just an attempt to gain clicks and views.

Could have easily called it Darth Vader inspired Camaro too.

You mean the 1LE? That's not the best street car. Stiff suspension. If you want to go fast on the street, you don't need 1LE. ALso, what's so horrendous about leatehr wrapped stuff, heated/cooled seats, etc?

I skipped the ZL1 because I could not get comfy in an SS no matter what I did.

Cool vid, nice car. Much better than the last one except this one got really slow and I had to skip ahead at about the 1:30 mark. These slow moving shots would benefit from some engagement. Perhaps a narrator? On-screen text? I'm not sure why the Camaro guy was flirting with the guy in pink, revving like a cat in heat, but it's cool.

Coming from a Lotus, the 1LE can't be that bad. lol

Not the materials, but the design. Wow, it has an electronic parking brake. Deal breaker.

I don't understand why they are putting this junk in performance cars. First the CTR and now this?

100% agreed on the parking brake being a "deal braker".

Also. WHY SO MANY BUTTONS. Otherwise I think it looks like a nice place to be.

I agree the electronic parking brake is dumb, but not a deal breaker for me. My Hellcat has the damn foot pedal for the parking brake. More stupid.

My 2SS 1LE interior is very similar. Buttons for heated seats, ventilated seats, dual climate control, sync, etc.

Electronic parking brakes are everywhere, I don't love them but they are going to be unavoidable soon.

I don't find the interior to be busy with buttons, I think the M4 has at least as many buttons.

I would agree with the latter point. BMW has grown a fond love for buttons.

There is an alternative:

Alcantara looks so nice until my greasy hands ruin everything in a few weeks.

I would prefer my Hellcat to have a button for the cooled/heated seats instead of just in the UConnect system. Oh well!

I got about 7000 miles on my ZL1, the alcantara is holding up very well. I don't go crazy taking care of it, but I don't eat greasy stuff in the car.
