I know how you feel... my car is at the port waiting to get on a ship. It will be here by June 27th at the least. If it got on the boat today (I haven't checked yet) it will be here on the 20th.

Edit... looks like it missed the boat today (or, at least, my VIN isn't showing on the WW site). That means it's on the next boat to Halifax which is scheduled to arrive June 27th. Hopefully we can get it to the dealer within a day or two

For all of you with MY17, check with your SA for the new options (Smart Phone wireless, sunroof and MPE) as they are available in the system.

Hey guys, I read somewhere in this thread, which is huge BTW, about production weeks, I have a couple of them, which one is the right one:

SA told me it's a Sept. Production, I just want a little more clarity on these dates from the order sheet that has my production number on it.

Week 33 is in August (week starts August 14th). Week 39 starts on September 25th. The important date is the "Conf. Prod. Week", so it will be an August production.

He actually gave me that info. at the end of April, yesterday I confirmed the options for My2017 M2 and he sent me the order sheet this morning, looks like I've been bumped up a month. Have not had the chance to talk to him, crazy busy at work, but this was a nice distraction!!

You guys are getting 17 my in now and my SA tells me the system doesn't have any MY 17 in yet. He says can't even build out a regular 2 series until July when production begins. I think he's not telling truth

They won't tell me how many are on their list, but they have 12 cars allocated until the end of the 2016 calendar year. 6 of those allocations are on the M Tours.

Maybe they'll bump production up a bit and you may get it early, but hopefully you have production week, numbers etc in hand already. If not, your dealer might be blowing smoke up your ass.

Just received confirmation yesterday for my MY2017, and it did get bumped up a month. Week 33 !!

It was previously scheduled for Sept. production. No smoke up the ass here, unless it's off the rear of my M2

I went to my BMW dealer yesterday in order to see my order in their system and to add an option (sunroof) to it. I can confirm that your SA is wrong on all the line because my order is for a MY17 with conf. prod. week 30/07/2016 (July last week).

I am sort of confused on my supposed deposit. I put $1000 down last sat for a 2017 build....but my SA had no info in system so did a quote on 2016 with notes customer looking for 2017 model and when available incentives at that time apply. You guys are all getting 2017 builds in now but previous you had 2016 in....so I guess do I have to wait for a allocation to come the a 2017 quote can be done? Or when you guys did initial deposit that was the agreed and signed deal at that time?? maybe my situation is different as I have 1 more yr on lease and I told them that I would still be fine for del as long as Mar to June 2017 ...but off course I would take earlier. Something strange going on here....perhaps I should just demand my deposit back.

I've ordered a MY16 M2 on December 28th 2015. I've put a $2,500 initial deposit and signed an official contract with BMW Sherbrooke, which does not save me from the MY17 $2,000 price raise. I had a production number for the MY16 and got another production number when they switched to MY17. And my MY17 order has been bump down (to have the production ASAP) two times, fist it was an October 2016 production, then an August 2016 and finally a July 2016 production (Conf. Prod. Week 30/07/2016).

^^^Same deal with me, just I put a $2k deposit in Oct/15 for a MY16, which turned into a MY17 Aug. production. Don't mind the 2K increase in MRSP with the new tech in the car, idrive 5.0 and carplay is a win, win. Then finish off with the MPE for another $3500, which is a steal, so to speak...well compared to the no option, dealer only as of now.

Ok so with your original deposit you had a sigood deal as well. My setup is basically a deposit which will become a deal I guess when I get an allocation. You had a deal already before an allocation. But if I wait for allocation without a deal signed then I may never get an allocation or way layer than I want.

When I put my deposit down, there was no deal, they did not even know the MSRP of the vehicle yet. I did have a signed invoice showing I put down a deposit on a 2016 M2 though.
