What a weekend!

I have been on the wait list since October 16th, 2015. I am still #2 and I was expecting to only be able to order my car in 2017 Q2 allocation and taking delivery in 2017 Q3. Well, I got a phone call Friday night from Schomp BMW in South Denver who received an M2 already configured matching my configuration (LBB, DCT and Exec Package) and it was available. I showed up when they opened Saturday morning and brought home my new M2! I am not driving it on the highway until the clear bra and window tinting is applied next week, but I couldn't resist taking it out for a few "test" drives. Such an awesome car.

Some pictures

Congrats! Looking forward to seeing a few more M2s in the area.

Where are you getting your clear bra and tint installed? My M2 allocation is enroute as we speak and I haven't been able to pin down places yet.

Congratulation! I actually posted the two cars they had last week so glad someone who was on their list actually received a car! I'm number 13 but ended up ordering out of state and trying to get a refund from Schomp. There's also a few posts about xpel installers in the Denver area, let us know who you end up using for this type of work and your experience. We'll need to schedule a meet up this Spring since they'll be a few in town now! Also, post some pic's!

I actually decided to have them install the window tint and clear bra. I am sure I paid too much, but I wanted it installed ASAP so I can start driving my car!

I was actually on the list at Co's, but Schomp called with this one available. Co's gave me a refund today. no questions asked. Top notch group.

Count me in on a meetup. We should plan some cruises. It would be great to see a handful of M2's roll through some mountain towns!

Here are a few pictures. I am going to sell my 2005 330i ZHP and get a "winter" car.

The wait is worth it. So far the car is as good as all the rave reviews. I was concerned about the steering feedback. Some of the reviews said the feedback on steering is numb. While the steering is not as "direct" as some cars like a 911, the feedback is substantially better than the M230i I test drove last year and very satisfying. So far I can't think of anything that is nagging me which is saying something because I can always find a fault in a car. It's a great car!

Congrats

Love the Imola ZHP. Don't sell it. Non-POS E46s are getting harder and harder to find these days!!

I love both of your cars. Hope you don't have to sell the E46. It's such a special car.

I love the ZHP. Up till now it has been my favorite car I've owned. I've owned it since 2006 and it's been so reliable and fun. But, the wife wants me to get a more practical winter car. It's not the best car for Colorado heavy snow days so I will get something AWD.

Tell her the winter is over, and at least keep it until much later this year !

Greg, I offer my personal experience on a car like your E46. You've had it over 10 years and you have developed a relationship with it. Sounds weird, right? After you sell it, you will find you will miss it the rest of your life, and you will always regret selling it. If you can afford to keep it, maybe put it in storage somewhere for a while while you drive the new winter beater. After one year, make the decision. Sorry for this note!

Very nice ZHP but understand the need for AWD during CO winters. I actually sold my sedan (G37xS) last year for a 4runner in preparation for the M2! I figure that'll be a nice combo going forward.

My M2 should be in by mid-april, I'd hope the canyons will be clean around then to get some fun drives in!

Congratulation again, awesome hearing your thoughts so far.

AWD doesn't help you stop or turn... keep the 330 and add snow tires.
