Question regarding BMWCCA discount

Can someone tell me how this works. If I recall if you are a member of BMWCCA you get a $1000 discount. Is this correct and can I simply tell them when I pay for the car (I'm on a waiting list) or do I need to disclose this beforehand? Can they deny it? I haven't joined yet but this would be reason enough it seems. Car will be purchased at BMW Seattle. Any info would be appreciated.

That would be awesome if they took it but so far the only discounts I have heard of people getting as of yet are through USAA or some other military program. I hope they do it.

you pay the dealer whatever you agree to. bmwcca sends you a check after you fill out the form and send it in. you must be a member for 1 year prior to purchase.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I missed that boat. I will probably join anyway as I'm buying this car as much as a hobby than anything. A man (or woman) needs a hobby and my athletic skills are quickly diminishing, lol.

The BMWCCA discount is $500 for the M2.

I just filled out the paperwork and was told it takes approximately 12 weeks to process.

You should still join the car club. The Roundel Magazine you get with subscription is great.

Agreed! Well worth the money!

On a side note I got a recent graduate discount of $1,500 applied to my ED purchase!

USAA discount is $2k. Fleet discount (may be avail through your employer) is $2.5k. Both applied during purchase process to reduce purchase price.

BMW CCA is a $500 rebate, submitted after purchase.

Fleet discount can not be combined with Euro Delivery or CCA rebate. Not sure about USAA.

Didn't know recent grad discount could be applied to ED. That's sweet.

Sorry, wasn't clear. I knew from the fleet discount description that it can't be combined with USAA. Meant I wasn't sure if USAA can be combined with CAA and/or European Delivery.

Would be sweet if USAA can be combined with ED since fleet doesn't allow it.

Kinda lame that you can't combine the USAA discount with the BMWCCA rebate. The dealership still gets that money.

I'm still trying to sort how BMW CCA would exclude based on the USAA rebate ..

The CCA rebate is not submitted via a dealer but to BMW CCA ..

Can someone who has been rejected inform what the given reasons was for the rejection from BMW CCA ?

CCA rebate comes from BMW NA. If I recall, the USAA is considered a fleet discount and those can't be combined with the CCA rebate

Edit: the CCA language says it can't be combined with other special purchase programs offered by BMW NA or BMW centers (including, but not limited to, USAA and Corporate Fleet programs)
