Happy New Year Everyone,

Wanted to share my build so far, and more important thank those who have helped get it to this point. I want to thank Nick Mitros from BMW of Tenefly. Best car buying experience of my life so far and my new go to for BMW. Thank you Autocouture Motoring in Fairlawn for the professional install on all my parts. IND, awesome products fast shipping. Last but not least, thanks to Phil at DetailersDomain for the amazing detail job, coating service, tints and install of IND parts and MPerformance winglets. Amazing people over at DetailersDomain. How did you get the LBB steering wheel trim? Was that a custom order for IND?

Car looks fantastic mate, love what you've done.

Did you just bolt on the MPerformance Winglets or did you have to use adhesive also?

I'm sure i read somewhere that BMW advise that the rear winglets should be fitted along with the front ones due to aerodynamic issues, i don't believe it myself but have you noticed any issues? Personally i'm only a fan of the front ones.

Thank you for the kind words. The front winglets come with both mounting points and 3m adhesive tape. They are very secure. As to aero feeling I don't feel anything in a bad sense not having the rear. I also don't like the rear wings and the front wings are better looking than I originally thought.

Added the M Performance pedals today. Install is easy if you use the correct tools and take your time. I followed some of the other tutorials on the site and found them very useful. The following tools are a must for a clean and hassle free install.

1. Snap Punch/ Spring loaded punch to start the pilot of where you are going to drill.

2. Dremel to further pilot the starting point

3. Titanium Drill bits. The metal on the brake pedal is tough USE TITANIUM

4. Start with 1/8, then 9/64, then finished with 5/32. THIS IS FOR BRAKE PEDAL

5. Secure using a 7mm open wrench

6. Gas pedal use 3/32

7. Tighten all screws with T-15 Torx bit

8. Vacuum and enjoy

Finally got a chance to wash my car. Thank to Phil [DetailersDomain] for the recommendation on what to use to preserve the Nano coating he applied. If anyone is on the fence about doing a coating, do it. Best money you will spend on your car especially if you love to wash it. Ease of washing, drying, shine, no swirls (if you wash it properly), and it always looks great.

Superb M2 - brilliant thread!

Quick question about those akra mirrors caps you have...

Any regrets? - As in, is their price justified (in your opinion) to the cheaper caps...? they look lovely.
