Sigh. Reading all this is making me depressed. I'm on track for September delivery.

Enjoy the car guys!

I (reluctantly) will be selling mine.

The car is built and due for delivery at North Shore (Sydney) in June.

MG pure with the alarm.

No M-tax or market adjustment.

Pm me if you know anyone.

So the guys looking to sell their cars on order, are you able to just cancel with the dealerships or will they make you stand by your contract to purchase? I'm sure with the demand they won't have trouble selling them.

I presume so... But then the dealer needs to find someone who wants that exact car rather than a blank order.

Mine is more of a space issue than anything else- I just managed to find something I didn't think I could, and sadly the m2 needs to go.

I ordered my M2 (DCT, Mineral Grey) today....got a July build / Sept delivery, I know here in Perth they are now sold out to August builds / October deliveries...when I was at the dealer there was 3 ppl looking very interested and WA only has an allocation of 1 build slot a month so the time to get may get pushed out very quickly...

I'm moving to Melbourne around Christmas and had thought I'd wait till I get there but by the looks it would be harder to get one over there than it is here!

Still nobody on this forum taken delivery in Oz?

My dealer has not yet received its first customer car so maybe a lot of M2s are on the same boat.

I can't believe how low the take up of the M2 is in WA. In SA, several weeks ago orders were already out to a build next year. I placed my deposit almost 3 months ago and the earliest I could get here was an Oct build. Did not think to shop around in other States thinking it would be worse.

Has anybody in Oz obtained a price to put protective film on the car? I had an estimate yesterday of $6k for full cover with Xpel and a bit less for Suntek (this includes full paint correction/detail and application of pain protection on top of film. I have posted more detail in the thread on PPF

I emailed Xpel but unfortunately there are no installers here in WA. I'm waiting to hear back from an installer here for 3M to see if they can get a pattern for the M2. 6k though is ridiculous...

6k!!! I was thinking about XPEL but no way at that price. Ceramic Pro or something similar will do me fine.

Can't orders still be changed once in the system? I mean, my build is week 22 and I can still change my order. The only thing a dealer would need to do is change the name on the delivery, and respec it to what them want....

Or am I wrong?

I ordered a non-pure M2 with sunroof in LBB - $112k driveaway in VIC.

I decided not go ahead with the purchase so if anyone is interested let me know, delivery is January tho.

If anyone wants the allocation let me know via PM... of course colour and options can still be changed!
