ofcoz I/we heard of Isetta

Pick one between Isetta and M235i, if you can have ONLY one car in your life.

kidding, can't compare them anyway.

yes, great car, and when you park it and get out of the car, you look back, you will have a smile before you even know it. coz it's such an understanding, powerful, friendly car, it actually wanna be your friend, not just sitting there and wait for you to get it.

I hope the M235i part of the article is not offending, coz some M235i owners in China actually think so, thatz why i write it this way

Thank you and thank you for those pics

i didnt realized i made a code mistake, may be it was cause by VPN, using google back then.

AMG is a "great" company, they actually make shits like A45 and CLA45 and really selling them, it could be MB or Daimler's order anyway.

Thank you all, it's actually my first car review, dont wanna test some acceleration and brake distance, but the feeling to have one.

M2 is such a understanding and friendly and playable car, it's not about how fast or lap time(it's really fast though), it just fun, and that's the title comes in: Purity.

yes, "best small car ever made" is a little bit exaggerated, but 1M is not the best whatsoever, MT is fun, yes, but really drives u crazy in daily driving of big city, and N54 is not that reliable also, during our test drive, 1M's engine error light pops up, "power decrease" or sth, i'm not sure what is it in english version, M2? totally nothing and no-thing at all. we drove them for one whole week, daily commute, track day, slalom event, no nothing error code.

as for M235i, ZF8 is a bit of boring ,but at least it's comfy and fast enough, horsepower is good too, and throttle response also, and it's small enough to follow your steering, it can actually accompanies you for few years, you can't find another car like M235i, not until M2.

i'm not sure how 1Ms are treated in US, but in China, lot of them have been exchange for many time, coz it's not practical at all, ppl just bought them for some fun and find out they can't really handle 1M.

as for M4's setting, yes, you can save the setting in M1/M2 buttons, but to find out which combo suits you the best(or which two), takes a lot of time. You don't need to go through this process with M2, just pick one.

again, ignore any grammar mistakes plz
Hi no problem, Ive only just seen your location on the PC. Very good reply and thanks for being polite, I'm a tad rude brining you up on a minor point. The post and pics are great, well done

I really like the overall styling and packaging of the M2 more than the M4. The only place where the M4 looks better is the front bumper, combine the M4 bumper with the M2 headlights and you have a winner! M4 has just grown too big for my tastes.

Idc what's better what's worse, one thing I know for sure seeing those 2 cars in person, m2's interior is CHEAP AF and that would be a deal breaker for me, I like it on the outside, but interior is very bad.

I think it depends a lot on whether the car is moving - when sitting still, the back end of the M4 seems to go forever...it just looks unnecessarily long and oversized.

But I had a few good runs with an M4 a couple of weeks ago...and man that thing looked mean coming up next to me, behind me, and in front of me. That experience totally changed my impression of the car.

I think the M2 looks pretty good sitting still, but the 2 series generally has some odd/off angles. It will be interesting to see it in person and in motion.

M4 looks superior from every angle, which isn't surprising. M2 is a def. a good car for the money, can't go wrong with either choice.

If you don't get the extended leather, literally the only difference is the gloss carbon fiber and the leather material of the seats. That's it.

Gloss is definitely nicer, but like, there's no way you can say that a base M4's interior is THAT much nicer other than the style of Carbon Fiber.

Does the M2 get the wider idrive screen on the dash automatically?

My 235 had the smaller of the two and it was pretty cheap looking...that and no HUD are the other areas I can think of an immediately noticeable distinction.

I know that in the US it does.

I'd say also that the interior of the M4 has a nicer design to it. But I don't see a drastic difference when compared to a stripper M4.
