Orion Highway has left Baltimore headed to Georgia/South Carolina - caught it on the bay bridge webcam - lucky timing on my part.

Able to capture a pic of the boat as it passed a weather web cam set up at a camp on the shore of Chesapeake....object just to right of tree.

My car showed up on Cars.com so I am guessing they are using it in the showroom or they ordered a spec car exactly like mine. I got to sit in someone else's car when I went to look at the M2 in December so it only seems right that my car does the same. Test-drives...that would be a deal breaker for me.

I think that is "automatic" and is not any indication whatsoever that your dealership intentionally posted your vehicle for sale to potential customers. Most of those cars on Cars.com are actually pre-ordered customer cars and if you call on those ads the dealers will tell you the car is already sold. I think dealership new inventory is automatically computer-added by Cars.com for dealerships that subscribe to their service.

I don't think your car would be test-driven by anyone.

I was at a dealership a few months ago when I was getting ready to order mine. I requested to test drive the car... my CA was going to pull one from their lot (they had several in stock), but was told that those were already sold, so he had to pull the one out from the show room (not sold) for me to test drive.

Most BMW dealerships (at least the ones I've dealt with) pay attention to this type of stuff.. .so don't worry about it, GL!

I was able to look at the M2 for the 1st time at my local dealership that was sold to a customer. The CA told me I wasn't able to touch or start the engine because it was sold already. I'm planning on requesting the same too before I take delivery.

Today officially marks 5 weeks since my car completed production. I'm on Michigan Highway and it's out of range for tracking since the 19th, somewhere in the middle of Atlantic. The vessel is on it's way to NYC Port. Initial estimate was 03/25 for Galveston (my destination port), but a revised estimate have it arriving in NYC on 03/25. If there are other ports such as Baltimore, South Carolina before Galveston, I may be waiting for at least another 10 days.
Does anyone know how to find other port of calls associated with Michigan Highway on this journey?

Yes, if its on one of the "WW" ships. Then you just enter your VIN in the cargo field, which will give you the ship name and voyage number. Then you click on the voyage number, and the route with all stops flagged will appear. Otherwise, no.

This is a Kline boat - not sure why it doesn't provide port of calls on the schedule sheet - call Kline and ask. Someone should know.

I would agree .... I called a dealer a few months back in that state down below (not allowed to say it) and he told me that indeed the Cars.com vehicles are added AUTO. When it comes to the M2, at least up north here, they are all customer cars.

Do you think the cleaning people at the dealers rub themselves on these cars after hours? Not that I would do that .... too many cameras these days.

Orion Highway hits Charleston later today. Plenty ahead of an April 12th PCD. I'll be glad when it is on American soil!
