Mine is supposed to come in tomorrow. But I may wait till after my 1200 miles to install. Cts guys said no cel, we'll see.
My dealer is mod friendly, but even that being said... odds are an intake and cat back are pretty safe bets. If not, you may need to find a different place to buy your cars from

Add front mounter intercooler instead! Better supporting mod and will help against heatsoak ;-)

Haven't seen CEL on CTS intake, badbread has been running it for a while and has his review on *************

I'm running the FMIC, i'm freakin in love! power is more consistent due to no heatsoak now.

FMIC? It already runs an FMIC, unless I slipped and logged into a Subaru forum by mistake...

We just Jumped in with CTS, spoke with Clay about their intake design for the N55 and was sold. I am really liking where CTS turbo is going with BMW.

Dinan is making CF braces so you can use their CAI and braces and not cut anything.

Honestly at this point just looking for an intake that is quality and doesn't throw a CEL. Thinking about CTS but not a lot of info on it yet.

Any open intake might cause CEL light, we have had the best luck with Injen (JB4 will fix the issue with any intake)

You can stay on the safe side and just get a closed intaked like the AFE one.

I think it's useful to be more specific. If what you want is more induction noise I think very few intakes seem to deliver this though any open box design would work.

If you want power I wouldn't really bother. Just change your filter on time.

I'm not too interested in the minimal power gains. i really do want induction noise, without a cel

I like the Eventuri Intake, looks dope and the costs are reasonable

I just got K&N drop in filter. I did clean the oil off it with their cleaning kit, and am running it dry. It does not generate the lovely E-venturi sounds, but it does open things up nicely compared to the stock paper filter. IMHO, there is an audible difference. For $50, you really can't go wrong.

If your running it dry, get it out of there.

Why?

I'm going to put a little oil on it soon. I've only driven the car a few hundred miles since I dropped int he K&N filter. I don't live in an area with a lot of dust or anything like that.

It came completely slathered in oil, and I've read many instances of folks having issues with the oil getting on the MAF sensor wire and screwing it up.

The oil is the filter for the small stuff. The gauze is just for the big stuff
