Wow Porgy is a fast ship! My ETA at Port Heuneme has been delayed to 3/24. It departed on the 19th. Sounds like some of the week 7 peeps have been delayed and joining the week 8 boarding.

I made it on the Porgy, based on a conversation with BMW! It's still not showing this anywhere else including searching the cargo ID by VIN but I'm sure it'll get updated within the next few days. 3/25 is still the ETA so right on schedule!

Damn! I've been at the port since 2/17. No boat yet for me yet.

That's odd! Have you called BMW @ 844-443-6487 and not just the automated service? Maybe it's actually already on a ship but the information just hasn't gotten updated yet?

Oh, I've been calling !! Today, they tell me again "no vessel assigned yet" but suggested it may be "on hold" and to have my CA research. Since my PCD isn't until 4/12, they may not be in a rush to get it there. But, I'm waiting to book my airline once its confirmed on a ship. Damn, this is almost as frustrating as waiting on an allocation!!

Same here. Genius first said my car was completed on 2/15, then they told me it had to go back to the factory and was actually completed on 2/24, and as of today it's still at the port waiting for a ship. People with week 8 builds are getting their cars soon and mine was a week 7 build. I've been without a car two weeks already.

Same situation. Car completed on 2/16, sat at the factory till 2/23. At the port as of 2/26 and no movement since then. People with week 7 in East Coast are getting their cars delivered and mine isn't even on a vessel yet. My anticipated delivery is looking more like 4/7, almost 7 weeks after production completion.

Porgy has been delayed by 2 days with an ETA of the 27th into Heuneme. The dealer had my estimated deliver date of 4/11 seems to be about right. It'll still need to get port installed accessories, then transported to NM.

That sucks to hear guys! At least you have a VIN with your name on it, just may be a few extra days before you can drive it!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you and I are both looking at a much later date than April 7 for retail delivery. It takes at least 30 days for the ship to go from Bremerhaven to Port Hueneme, and then at least another week for customs and trucking to the dealership, and then Pre Delivery Inspection. Earliest we are looking at (my guess) is around April 20.

He's in Houston - car will be delivered to Galveston before heading your way.

Since technically I'm week 8 I'll post an update here! I called BMW genius earlier today and they said my car would be shipped on the 30th and at the dealer on the 2nd. I do still have port installed accessories to go on the car so not sure if these dates are for real at this point.

What are other's hearing?

This is probably an extremely stupid question, but if my M2 had a 2/20/17 production date, that would mean it's a week 8 build, yeah?
