There is a 2017 M2 in status 193 at a dealer, build is as follows:

6 speed manual, LBB, Exec Package, M Driver's Package, Apple CarPlay, Black Kidney Grilles

It is being sold at MSRP of $57,995.

I would be all over this if I had one of my motorcycles already sold to free up some cash and if it didn't have the M Driver's package. PM me for contact info of dealer.

Not sure if the car's still available but I guess they're not looking to do business with people outside of state and/or with a trade-in.

I exchanged a few emails and calls with them, but conversation stopped as soon as they found out that I was 1) out of town and 2) had a trade-in.

Out of town I get, since you want a long term customer. But the trade-in thing? That just seems dumb.

That is shitty, sorry it didn't work out and no idea if the car was sold or not. I do kind of get the out of town thing but still think it is a crappy to not do a deal because of it. A car in high demand is much more likely to have a buyer that is not local, so they shouldn't be surprised when they get an out-of-state buyer.

From a dealer's perspective, I would prefer a local buyer because of service/warranty work. And, the chance for repeat purchases. I'm glad I found a dealer who didn't shy away from out of state purchases but I can understand those that do.

No worries, I really appreciate your help in finding the car in the first place. I guess it was just not meant to be. My search continues and hopefully I'll find the "one" soon enough.
