Filthy M2 - Blue Ridge Parkway
The winter weather was mild so I made a day trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains. This was my first time taking the car on proper twisty roads - what a weapon! It was 55F and a bit damp, so I took it easy, but the potential of this car is immense. And winter-time meant very few minivans on the good roads!
And she was a very dirty girl... Sorry, only iPhone quality photos. |

Nice! Any recommended roads to check out? I'm planning on heading that way after PCD when I pick up my M2.

On my way from Asheville to Greenville I hit Cedar Mountain (state road 276). Insane switchbacks. Check out the Google map of the road. I had 15 min of road with no one in front of me! Plus after PCD you'll feel comfortable pushing her a bit.

If you get off the highway at Marion, NC, I took Rt 80 North (Devil's Whip) and then headed over to Little Switzerland (Rt 226A). These are all off Blue Ridge Parkway which is beautiful by itself, just not hair-raising.
