Dealers with incoming 6spd M2's or people with information

I'm looking to trade my 2017 LBB DCT for a 2017 LBB 6spd m2. Every day I'm doubting the decision of DCT so I figured I'd put it out there. If you're taking a delivery soon and have someone who has backed out please contact me. Looking for a car with Apple play and executive package. Hoping for someone close to the TRI-state areas. Thank you

Just wanted you to know I did this once on a 335i. I came back to the dealer 2 weeks later and said I messed up I am not an auto guy. Searched high and low and found a stick. I had to drive 4 hours and it took me a month. Completely worth it. GL!!!

Hate to say it, but my dealer has a used M2 becoming available... unfortunately with DCT because the person wanted a M2 so bad that he took what he could find and then got in line for a manual one - which is now being built (or has arrived) - so his DCT LBB M2 will now be traded in.

At the end of the day, that might be your best choice - just get back in line.

And while I really don't like the rev matching in the 6-sp M2, I do love having a manual again. I really really do.

Thank you for the referral! I have a feeling this dealership called me over the weekend. Unfortunately I really like LBB and will do my best to stick that color.

Yes, I was the same way. I always drove stick, but did not realize how much I loved it until I bought one auto. I thought the paddle shifters would be a nice change of pace and my wife could drive it.

I was shocked how much I hated it and how boring daily-driving was. I was asking myself why do so many people do this? At least in the M2 you won't lose as much money as I did. Still pretty rare and the manual is cheaper.

Bump to help.

Nicname, I am looking for a LBB with DCT. Maybe we can work some thing out instead of you trading your's in as dealer will want to make money on yours.

Hi,

I've thought about this option also but the issue I have is wondering just how long it'll take to find the car I want after I sell you mine. I don't want to be stranded without a car for 1-3 months and rely on busses and Uber. Also, I'm unsure what the dealer will offer but their offer + the lower cost of the 6spd + the reduction in sales tax for trading in might make the trade not as bad.... Or so I hope

It's been hard to find a quote for what my car would be worth trading in. I might have to visit a dealer during the weekend and see.

If you don't work out a deal, go ahead and call Brett Midgley at Autohaus BMW in St. Louis - he has a DCT LBB incoming (used). No clue on price.

They're asking over MSRP for a DCT car.

I've had this one on my sights but I'm coming from LBB. It's such a fun color that I'd hate to go to silver

Dark grey , not silver. Our tastes are very different- I saw an X4 in LBB and yipes not for me. If anyone wants this car please contact Julian Sanchez in new car showroom- he showed it to me and was very nice and deserves the sale. My commute is 3 miles and takes 15-20 minutes so I just cannot justify the 6 speed as much as I want it. I'm also old.
