Bump to see if anyone made inroads, esp for Canada.
Also frustrating...any Canadian brothers getting shafted by this preferential treatment? We should start a petition or something lol. Last edited by tranquility; 04-04-2017 at 06:59 PM.. |

My 09 had the recall done for fuel injectors in 2011 before I owned the car. They changed 2 only, now have 4 bad and I was quoted $3,000 to change them all.
BMW NA did not offer 1 dollar of assistance even though they changed 2 of my 6 faulty parts during the recall. Also the 2010+ that didn't get recalled got the extended warranty. Neither of which they could care less about or comprehend. Getting in touch with BMW support team in Munich, will not stop until they take responsibility. I am ready to take legal action with anyone who wants to join. Last edited by KOBEdaddy23; 08-25-2017 at 12:23 PM.. Reason: typo |

Ya, it's frustrating. I'm in Canada, so they somehow don't even provide coverage! At least you guys in the US supposedly have this covered. Tell me how it goes, maybe it will help the rest of us.

Well I am not covered. I have the parts that should be covered and I'm experiencing the symptoms. I sure will let you know. I am reaching out to everyone at BMW I can find until someone understands how scummy it is that BMW is doing this.

Yea I don't get how the part number is not the thing that is covered under the extended warranty. It should not matter what year or what make, if the defective part is on the car it should be replaced, simple as that.
I think BMW tried to be sneaky in court to avoid paying for everyones like they should, and the judge was too dumb to realize it, or got payed off and allowed it. I will file complaint with BBB and have reached out to CEO, I suggest everyone do the same. |

Carbon build up on the valves is an issue with your 2009 135i N54 engine also.

I've ask some of you guys who qualified in this thread and it seems the latest qualifying MY was 2010, which is weird because fuel injectors past that pt still failed.
