Week 3 build!
So looks like these build-week threads are losing their gusto but I'm starting one for me anyway!
Got an estimated build date of 1/16 after I grabbed someone's allocation already in 112 status 2 weeks ago. MG 6MT exec and a few cosmetic items that I didn't want to bother installing myself. Can't wait! Anybody else?? Bueller? |

I'm a week 3 build as well...I called up the BMW Genius hotline and they reported it just entered production today! Is it unusual for their dates to be off?

Supposed to be a week 3 build, but ordering in Canada and tracking is lacking. First time I called with the production number they said it would be week 3, but when I called the following week with a few other questions the guy said he didn't have visibility into the production week. So, we shall see...

Alright more week 3 peeps!
Just confirmed again I'm scheduled to be completed 1/16 so looking good so far. Sooner, production week is the date for completion of production, not starting, so entering production around now is about right. Jofus my info was a bit inconsistent until 1-2 weeks after entering 112 status. |

Your build week is the week that your car is scheduled to *complete* production. So sounds like you're on track. Congrats!

Stupid question ...
I ordered today and have a vehicle inquiry report with a production number. How do I know which "week" the car should complete or do I not get that until I'm able to track the vehicle? Also does anyone know what "week 3" translates to with the M2? |

There's a pretty good sticky somewhere covering how to follow your car from preproduction all the way to delivery. Great info if you're even just a bit obsessive. Week 3 is the same for all cars, expected to complete production in the 3rd week if the year. Getting closer guys... |

Thanks man. Yeah I've actually been in 150 status since December 23rd. XMas and New Years vacation have prolonged the build process a little but scheduled to be completed in under a week.
Then I'll get to waste time tracking the barge! |

Congrats! Given I have little visibility into the order status given it's a Canadian order, I'm relegated to checking the VIN decoders for progress. Only a few dozen to go...
