DCHOI no coating was done although I cannot see any difference in gloss between the areas protected and the rest.

I did see the topic you opened with links to info you have gathered on your research. Thanks for sharing that.

I was contemplating getting the package which expels the water but really didn't plan for it. Could look into it and see who in Florida does work like that.

What are you planning to do with yours based on the research you have done?

I think most good coats expel water and is a standard. I'm actually leaning towards not getting PPF on my car because I don't drive freeways often and there aren't many rocks and debris flying around in town. The roads and freeways are fairly wide and clean. If I ever decide to take a drive out of town I can perhaps then just add a temporary film and remove it after as a possibility. I'm still in the process of deciding which coat to go with but leaning towards a long term coat lasting 4+ years to get the most value. I've recently created a thread on coat brands you might want to check out.

Nice, diggin these! Like how the pattern flows with the dead pedal.

Would be interested to know how the material holds up from the wear your clutch foot makes.

Thank you!

No spoiler yet.. I like the look of the M Performance Spoiler but would like it in the same color of the car rather than carbon.

So I am on the fence right now. Found a thread about a seller that provides them painted but hasn't confirmed he can do LBB.

Either I do that or I buy the carbon. But haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I finally commited to the idea and ordered the colored spoiler..

The finish on it is much better than expected, no blemishes in the material itself and the color is on point from the first test fits I did on the car.. will try to install this weekend and snap some more pics..

Please let me know how it was to remove the original spoiler. I hesitate since I am scratch sensitive
Although I go for the carbon Mperformance spoiler.
Cheers

Love this thread! Keep up the great posts! What part of Florida are you in? I am in Orlando.

I have an order in for an MG 6MT, I am looking at doing the PCD next summer and will be taking a scenic route through the smokey mountains to visit family in Kentucky before turning back and returning to Florida. Hoping to get most of the break in done right away. I was on the fence about the PPF but not as much any more after hearing your positive experience! Thanks for the write up!
