Hi guys here are the Type 2 Cover Version 1 and 2. The difference is only in the vent tilt angle (45 and 60 degrees).

Let me know what you think!

I am also in the process of making rapid prototype for the Type 1 cover. I will update with pictures of the covers and how they look once installed.

One more thing: Type 1 was very, very close to the honeycomb shape on the bottom center air vent of the M2. Was that on purpose? Would be nice to get them to match.

The size would be too big and since the reflector is in the vertical direction, we figured it'd make more sense to make the honeycombs in a slightly more vertical shape as well.

Sorry what I meant was the overall shape of the comb - the one in the lower intake is the same shape just horizontal. I agree that the size and orientation are perfect.

Alright, I got some prototypes and will fit them onto the car and take some more pics.

Trying to see if I should make them in the matte or gloss finish; what do you guys think?

The actual production ones will be similar, but I need to fix the honeycombs slightly.

Gloss finish looks kinda bad since it's only a prototype, but for production, the paint job will be flawless
