The Remus sounds awesome. Not surprised because I thought it sounded awesome on the 1M. This seriously sounds so much better than the M4. I just don't get it...?

I am not a fan of the M2, front looks meh and colours are horrible. But the Remus Exhaust really makes me want one. I would get a pink Boxter over the M2.

I beg to differ. You obviously haven't heard an E92 M3 under load with a Remus race system. I think Remus offers better bang for your buck than any system on the market!

I don't know if I would call it shit, at least on BMW's. Even on a car like a F30 320, it's still a decent sound you'd expect from an exhaust mod. I don't look to Remus if I want a loud and aggressive setup. Remus on BMW's are usually just a bit above stock but enough to know you've upgraded which appeals to a few people who don't want something loud like an Akrapovic or Eisenmann.

But that's just me.
A bit above stock? When I had the Remus Race system on my E92 it shook the neighbors house! I would hardly call it a mild sound upgrade from stock... I still can't get used to how quiet my ZCP F80 is at this point and I will def look at Remus to amp things up.

It sounds so similar to the stock exhaust but just a little bit louder. But not much.

Wow that's a lot cheaper than other brands. The sound is probably very similar to a M performance exhaust while being cheaper.

I wouldn't say it's cheaper, they are more or less the same price. I can actually get the MPE cheaper than this by a little bit with tips (if you are looking at like to like Ti or CF).

I also like the Remus, however I am a Supersprint guy and think their system is the best bang for the buck.
I also see Supersprint as more premium then Remus - my personal feel.
Lightweight is also an alternative, however haven't heard any sound file on this system yet....

A buddy of mine got a stripper 320i and modded it with a Remus exhaust and it wasn't that loud. It was comparable to M Performance. It was actually quite pleasant to hear a good sounding aftermarket exhaust that didn't annoy the whole street.

Man that sounds awesome. I knew I shouldn't have watched it.

Now I wanna get the Remus exhaust for the M235i. Anybody want a sightly used M Performance exhaust?

LOL

It is just plain crazy to pay that amount of money for an exhaust. I have a complete exhaust system under my E30 M3 grA rally car. Front to rear 1400 euro. No fancy name.

Doesn t matter if it s performance, remus, akro system etc. Those manufactures just asked a big amount of money for something which is overpriced so badly.

But he if you can find the people who empty there pockets so easy you can t blame them to asked those prices.

Yes and no. I agree that these exhausts are getting overly expensive, and personally, I don't see it enough of an upgrade over the stock M2's exhaust.

Having said that, it's hard to get an exhaust right. I went through 5 exhaust setups before I was finally happy with my E92 M3.

I'm not confident that I can always take my car to an exhaust shop and have them up something from scratch, that will not only sound good, but that will not drone. That drives me insane.
