Yeah I usually back up into spots, but I can't trust my wife will when she borrows the car.

Do you have any shots of the wheel/fender gap since you currently don't have spacers? I'd like to see how it looks without spacers. I'm debating doing this and not using spacers just to keep unsprung weight down and avoid any vibration issues all together.

Looks great - how does your front bumper fit over those concrete parking barrier things?

I've noticed stock I seem to fit over them and don't have to worry about crashing into them. What about with this drop?

With the help of backup camera and sensors will make it even easier since I'm not used to backing up to park cars.

Not all my cars have backup cameras. I still back them up and then open the door, stick my head out and get them as close as I can like that

That deal on ebay is awesome if you are an EU guy. Nothing close to that price in the states. Anyone from EU feel like helping a guy in FL out with an Eibach purchase?

Thanks!

Correct Eibach springs and no spacers yet..

I am considering 12mm front and 10mm back at some point.

About an 1" lower all around is what they advertise and that is roughly what they lowered. Just enough to eliminate noticeable wheel gap.

What's a reasonable time estimate for swapping in the Eibachs for the stock springs, using the stock mounts as instructed and assuming all necessary equipment is on hand?

For the record, no bump stop modification is needed with the Eibach's.

It was the first email to my Eibach contact when I received them. Usually they include a set to modify so you don't have to butcher the OEM's but they confirmed no modifications to the bumpstomp is needed.
I'm curious if anyone has checked the bump stop clearance while the car is loaded. (I mean not on a jack stand). I had lowered my E46 M3 and found that the car was basically riding on the bump stops (I wondered why it was riding like crap). I'd be curious to see a pic of clearance. If there is very limited clearance, it will seriously affect your ride. That's why lower springs not only need stiffer shocks, but shorter shocks that will allow more travel at the lower ride height.

What spacers did you go with? and are you still using the stock lug bolts or did you switch to studs? and if you did switch to studs, what kit? Thanks.

I went with burger tuning spacers which comes with the extended lugs. I had the exact same setup on my e93 M3 and had no issues, which is why I went with the same company.

How do you feel about having all 10mm vs 12mm front/10mm rear?

I'm putting in 12mm front/10mm rear (Turner Motorsport spacers, hub extender with longer bolts) early next week, also with Eibachs.

Should be able to post pics pretty soon thereafter. After I figure out how to do that, of course
