Call me old school but I really love the BMW performance shift knob. Not a fan of the carbon M Performance one that I see a lot.

Been reading a lot of varied info some saying it'll fit others say it will not. Can anyone confirm the fitment of this knob? They look pretty much the same just different materials. Thanks advance.

I've installed this knob.
Interestingly, the alcantara boot is connected to the factory knob. You have to remove the clips and cut the plastic in order to swap out the knob.
They are both weighted similarly, the performance knob is a bit shorter.

Amazing news. Do you have installed pics? Would love to see. I think this knob gives the interior a bit more contrast over the all black!

Do you need to remove the entire factory boot and knob? Any pics or video before would be good.

Thanks.
