Driver Assitant used on track

I read the description of our DA system which says: " If the system warns of a potential collision, the brakes are simultaneously preconditioned for a faster response". So ,if I am on track closing in on someone quickly ,my brakes won't actuate but will be on high alert if the car brake checks me ☠️. Has anyone experimented with this technology?

My understanding is the system will do some automatic braking also, along with the preconditioning. Needless to say, turn that frontal collision system off when on the track, IT IS ANNOYING to say the least. Red light on dash cluster activating is very distracting the few times I have accidently left it on during a track session. I initially relate red lights on the dash to oil problems, so definitely a shock when I see it (ha,ha). Then reaching down and turning off while at speed is a bit difficult too. How hard it's braking, and if it is braking, hard to tell, but if it is dragging the brakes at all, going to slow you down for sure.

Same thing happened to me on track. Just curious to know what the heck is " preconditioning " the brakes?

Just push the button on the far left bottom of the dash....the green light will be on when you start the car and off when you depress the switch

Is it near the head lamp switch?

I did discover the compartment under the headlamp switch. I've had the car 3 months and never noticed it😳

I don't have any of those buttons (at least I can't find them) and I don't have the exec pkg.
