M2 Pricing

Hi Guys,

I am thinking to order my M2 in the near future, but was wondering... do you guys think the pricing on M2 would drop in the next 1-2 years? The best deal I can get is @ MSRP...

Please share your opinion w/ me, thanks a lot!

If you are a USAA member you can get $1000.00 off, thats all I would expect for some time. I just talked to Momentum BMW in Houston--they have 18 people on their wait list to order!

BMW CCA members get a $500 rebate - about the only concession. By the time supply meets demand (if ever), there will have been several price increases. Therefore, I don't believe the M2 will ever be as affordable as it is currently.

Your best bet is if you work for a company that offer corporate discount with BMW. In my case it will vary from $1500 to $2500 based on when (month) my car is ready for delivery. Currently, BMW is offering $2500 off MSRP for Corporate discount.

Just curious, are you looking to buy in Houston? There may be other options with dealers maintaining a shorter list in Houston and surrounding areas.

The M2 will be MSRP until end of production. Numbers are limited, demand is huge.

Occasionally someone with a good dealer relationship can get some discount but they've been very few and far in between.

Also, OP should keep in mind M2 production ends with MY19 (maybe MY20, bit up in the air right now)

I thought for the M2 specifically it was still capped at $1,000. But hey, good news!

Really? I thought 2 series was $1500. Did it change recently?

Yes, have to be a member. You, or family member need to be current or former military.

It's $2500 in January and I'm really hoping it stays the same till March when I take delivery.

Found that. Expires in Jan. We'll see what happens. Pretty soon you would expect to see end of model year discounts, which is ridiculous on this car of course, but 2018s will come in the fall. I'll try not to get my hopes up!

When you look at it, the discount is petty meaningless on an i8, but it's 5% on an m2!
