How old are you guys?

I'm 31. Curious to see what ages are interested/can afford the M2. I don't have one at this point, but I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a MY 2017 before the end of the year. This is the first time a NEW M car has been in my price range, and I'm excited!

I'm 28 and it is my first M car as well! Couldn't really buy cars since I've been in school until about 3 years ago. Also nice to have an understanding spouse.

There is another thread on this that contained a poll. And, the M2 is my wife's who is mid way in her 60s. She wanted a 6 speed too!

M2 isn't as flashy and doesn't have "enough power". That younger demographic (which I'm a part of) tends to focus too much on the "perceived value" of their car.

I, on the other hand, enjoy driving too much to buy an M4

46. First ///M car, 6th BMW. Always wanted an M3 but couldn't justify $70k. When the M2 came along at that price I jumped at it. I think the M2 looks better than the 3/4 anyway.

Im 28. deposited $ on M2 as a 27th bday present. gonna end up being my 28th's Christmas present

A past thread about first ///M age inspired me to set 27 as my age to pull the trigger since that was the most common response it seemed

I think his point was while many can afford the note they cannot really afford the car. IE if you cant easily pay for the car in cash you probably shouldnt buy it.
