G87 M2 at the Essen Motor Show
I've not been thinking much about the G87 as I just didn't like the front end but I must say, seeing it in person changed my opinion quite bit....quite a lot actually.
I wish they'd just had a standard color as opposed to this 'wrapped' version (under the wrap was Toronto Red). With the exception of the roof, the Carbon Fiber treatment didn't really do anything for me on the outside however, the carbon bucket seats, while not the easiest to get in and out of, were amazingly comfortable! Only had my phone with me but took a few pics...

Thanks for posting the pics. It still doesn’t do much for me. I’m looking forward to seeing one in person at some point.

Those floating rear calipers. Such a shame….

Honestly, my biggest exterior aesthetic complaint might be the engine bay. Not a fan of those unsightly strut braces or the general layout. That army green looking color clashes with the TR…and no idea why the TR doesn't extend around to the front instead of that army green color.
Obviously the M2C carbon fiber strut brace is a huge winner. But I also like how clean and well laid out the OG looks in comparison.

Agreed. Looks like they've changed the hat to be more like the front as well.

Same here. Seeing it in real life helps and I like the curved display more than I thought I would but what impressed me most was the carbon buck seat...which I think comes from the M3/M4.

Still a hideous beast. People keep saying it looks better in person, nope. It does not. Same deal with the g80, I may be OK with it now, but it's still ugly AF - in person or otherwise.
I may never be ok with the g87 - ESPECIALLY for 100k+ |
