Who has the lowest mileage?
I am tired about reading about who has the highest mileage.
With COVID my mileage has really plunged. I have the lowest mileage I have ever had for a four year old car. I am currently at 14,822 miles on my 2018 M2. It is not a garage queen. It is my only car. To be honest though my wife does have a Mazda CX-5 turbo. I am sure some forum members have M2s with lower mileage per year. Let’s hear from them. |

Wow, that's really low. I have 26k on my 2018. A big chunk of that are serval road trips to Florida, if not for that I'd probably be close to what you got.
Covid really slowed my mileage down also, as well as having my Jeep, which I drive a lot now. I'll probably be the on the high side on this thread, just thought it was a interesting discussion. This is really low for me as well, especially for a car I really like. |

It really depends how often you'd like to enjoy the car quite honestly. You could drive it once a month or put 1,200 miles a month.
Personally, I think driving the car often is great. Why not enjoy it while you have it but I'm not here to hijack the tread. I'd assume any of the CS owners have the lowest mileage. It's a collectors car that people want to hold onto and make a few extra bucks on. Anything from EAG will classify for this tread as well. I'm sure they have a few M2's with under 1k miles. I've seen people buy collector M's, never drive them for years and not make enough profit to even care to sell them so from that stand point it's a tough call. Other then that I'm sure we all drive ours as much as we're comfortable with

15k on my 2017 that sees daily duty. Original owner got it from BMW Manhattan and it just sat apparently. I’m doing my best to drive the hell out of it including letting it eat at the track.
I’ve done all but 1800 miles and plan to add another 80k. |

18,576 on my '18.
Pandemic definitely held the miles down as I went to primarily working remote. It's my daily driver but it essentially became a weekend car. But the way I see it, she's got more life left than she would have otherwise, which means I'll be owning her longer than I would have. And that can be nothing but a good thing.

I just did the math. If I took out my trips to Florida since 2018, I'd be at a little over 21K. Still the highest compared to some of you, but I wouldn't qualify for the high milage thread according to most.

This is essentially a self-shaming thread. I'm not proud of having a measly 12,285 miles on my '18 M2, though apparently that's sufficient to scrub the rear tires down to the wear bars as I just had a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports delivered yest.
Like Al Bundy, I mostly blame the pandemic - two years of remote work (which technically ends at the end of this month but it's been offered - and taken - on a permanent basis thereafter). Before that, I only had a 15 min drive to work, three days per week, plus I have two other cars I drive. I also blame the state of MD for excessively salting the roads all winter, which keeps the M2 in hibernation. My M2 was never intended to be a garage queen but, like Al said, the slow mileage accumulation should hopefully enable it to last a very long time. It won't get any better when a fourth car arrives (*hopefully* next year!) but I intend to drive all my cars til the very end and I figure I better stockpile stick shift cars that I really like while they still make them.
