Bob@BPC uses SAE , but it is most popular amongst American Muscle. As long as you do baseline on STD and post tune it should yield same peak delta and just takes a mouse click to change to SAE or STD if you have the drf files

Well thanks for trying it again anyway!

I PMed you my email address. If you don't mind doing this, you could email me the original picture file you got from ER. Even better would be if you could email me the drf file for run 003. Usually they will offer you the drf file if you want it.

As a suggestion for this forum - I tried uploading a .drf to a post here (using "attach files") and the file format is not accepted. The forum owners could make it an accepted format, I would think. The files are very small, 10 KB or less usually.

I sent it to you. If you wouldn't mind throwing it up here on the thread. That would be cool

Aha, good!
I cropped off the field that has your name in it, thinking you might not want that here.
The cropped result I posted here using "Post reply, Attach files". It is 1567 x 886 pixels and 404 KB, and it looks pretty good.
It might not show full size in this forum, but if you want to see it full size, you can right click on it and pick "Save image as" from the right click menu, then save it back to your computer and look at it in the picture viewer of your choice to see it full size.

Dinan Stage4'ish

I'm in Denver so the thin air does drop the numbers a bit but I'm very happy with these!

Mods:
M Performance Exhaust
Fabspeed Sport Cat Downpipe
Dinan Dual Core Intercooler
Dinan Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake
Dinan Stage 4 Tune
Dinan Big Turbo

3zero3 Motorsports performed the installation which I'd highly recommend if you need any work done.
Dyno'ed at Dyno-pro unfortunately didn't get stock numbers, it was somewhat last minute
Humidity 20%
Temp 65
SAE 1.20
It's also manual

That's funny! I was on their waiting list, number 11 and after seeing how the dealerships, not just them, were handling allocations I ended up getting my M2 out of state. They're my go to dealer otherwise though, no complaints. I'll update my post with a few more details.

I'm car number 381..
I had jb4 turned off (so map 0) and my traction control on. Very first time ever at a drag strip

The car 382 is an m235 with intake intercooler catless dp all same as me and running mhd software. Her dyno numbers are 395hp and 470 ft lbs with mods and software

So here is a some up of today. The car ran fine at that track. No issues. Ran really good. I put p4s as my rear tires. I strongly suggest people upgrading to this. They grip so much better than the pss. They do shoot up more rocks.

After the track I went and did some straight line pulls way out of town. Well here is what happened. At about 120-125 my fuel cuts out. I'm not getting enough fuel to run map 2. I did a couple passes and all of them yielded the same result. I think I'm going to cancel dyno day on Tuesday and get a new fuel pump, then go dyno. Because what if I'm getting fuel starvation earlier on somewhere?

An upgraded fuel pump won't solve the issue unfortunately. Well, not unless you can upgrade the HPFP and to my knowledge there isn't an upgrade available for it.

I've heard this is a common issue with Map 2 on the JB4 for the M2 - the HPFP crashes due to lack of fueling. The solution to this is to run water-methanol injection or port injection (LPFP Upgrade + Port Injection Rail). The other alternative is to unlock the DME and get a back-end flash like BM3 and the tuner can fine tune the vehicle more than the JB4 can.

Fuel Cut is due to map2 pushing ONLY boost and this is not the way.
Do you have any of your logs to see whats happening 0-125 ? Only way to see honestly please get some logs
Don't cancel your Dyno and go on to dyno in 4th gear instead of 5th gear.

I am going on the dyno. I spoke with them they said bring it in and we will see what happens. I don't have the cable to run logs or the wireless adapter. I ordered one last night.
One of my friends with his m235 (not the one I was with yesterday runs jb4 on map2 with stage 2 pump on 92 oct. said he never had fuel cut out on him.
Which right now he did a stage 3 turbo upgrade and pump. But the car shuts down automatically now. He has port injection also. It's been at the shop for months for diagnosing.
On map one I wasn't having any fuel cut out issues.
I'll report back tomorrow evening with the dyno sheets so you guys can see.

The way the JB4 works is it adds boost above the stock target by tricking the ECU into thinking its not hitting its load target.

The M235i on Map 1 and 2 will hit lower boost values than an M2 on Map 2. This is because the M235i stock boost target is lower than the M2's. I know the M2 targets anywhere between 14 - 16.5 psi stock, and it is load based - therefore ambient temperature, pressure etc. matters. I'm not 100% sure what the M235i targets, but I know it is lower.

I can only assume the M235i and the M2 share the same fuel pump. So since the JB4 on the M2 has a higher "boost ceiling", if you will, the M2 suffers from HPFP crashing while your friend in his M235i does not.

Hopefully this makes sense, I typed this out fairly quickly. I look forward to seeing your numbers on Map 1 and Map 2. Good luck on the dyno!

How fast does map5 adjust to e85 mix? Is it something I should drive for a day or to and than go dyno? Or can I pour it in on the spot and go to town?

I haven't kept up with tires so I need help here - are you saying:

MICHELIN®
PILOT® SPORT 4 S

vs

MICHELIN®
PILOT® SUPER SPORT

?

Are the PS4S tires like softer and stickier than the PSS? That's why they shoot rocks more?
LOL

You can pour it on the spot, will take about 3 WOT pulls to fully adapt.
Once again, I would post-pone Dyno until you have the Bluetooth kit and you can datalog every Dyno run.
