M3/M4 carbon fiber strut bar retrofit

We have finished. Needs some parts from M3/M4 and some very slightly modification and that is it. If you would like, i can share the parts number i have used during my project.

I've never understood this brace on the f80/82.Surely a conventional horizontal strut brace would be more effective.

There is also an M3/M4 metal strut brace behind the U shape carbon fiber strut bar, which connects the two guide support. You cannot see it, as it is covered by different covers. Attached picture is not from my car, but shows the same retrofit.

If I had know this and knew I was getting a M2 I would have robbed it off of my M4 before they hauled it away to the junk yard

It probably only benefits from looks, for those that like carbon fiber.

The ///M2 utilizes a super rigid platform, and rides like it's on rails in stock form.
I seriously doubt that even the most expensive and finely engineered strut tower brace would make one red cunt hair's but of difference in the way it handles the twisties.
