Are you going to DD the car through RE winter? The studs on my M4 made it through 3 winters w/very minimal corrosion.

I went with MSI for the M2, which is now a second track/street car that will never see winter.
I'm in Ohio, not sure what you meant with "RE winter".
But yeah, this car is the only one I get... my wife puts her foot down since we only have a 2 car garage and she doesn't want to deal with something sitting in the driveway. (Otherwise I'd consider having an AWD Volvo or VW as a winter beater.)

I wish they made something more like 60-65mm; I suspect that's where I need to be in order for my closed-end nuts to work.

Yeah, the 70 mm will still be too long - and with the bulletnose, most definitely

Well, I think the 70mm (Turner lists it as 70.5) is the full length of the thing, including the bulletnose.

Unfortunately, Turner doesn't list the dimensions of each section separately, so I don't know how much of the 70.5mm is the "outer" and nose portion, and what is in the hub + in the rotor.

If this was CSI, I could overlay a ruler on the image somehow and figure it out that way, but even though I'm an IT guy I don't have a clue how to do that or if it's even possible without the ruler being in the original photo somehow...

Much appreciated. I'm pretty sure Turner just gives no shits about their customers, because I filled out their web form once to ask about these studs, and then I e-mailed them separately last night, and have not seen an answer to either inquiry.

The company that actually makes the studs (MSI Racing Products) says that they will do one-off orders as well, so I might be able to get them to make me a set that are 55-60mm instead of 70 (ideally just shrink the bullet nose a bit) and that would do the trick... but given that these are already $12/stud from Turner, I don't want to know how much that goes up when I ask for custom. $240 for studs is already insane for a daily-driver, when I was able to get a full set on my Audi (quantity 5 of that 4-stud kit) for $80 (the price has gone up since I bought mine a few years ago).

I'll grant that these look like they are much higher quality... but I'm not a race team changing tires every 4 hours, I just want something that will hold the wheels on safely, won't corrode, and are M14x1.5 on the outside so I have good nut options (including the two sets I already own). Apparently this is just too much to ask for the market, which apparently wants "pokey" super long studs because racecar and stance.

The MSI 70 mm studs, when the factory 437M wheels are mounted, expose approx 2-3 threads of the stud. The nose protrudes 11/16" from the top of the nut. See photos

I feel like if I could get the nose cut in half it would be fine... It's hard to know without knowing how much of the stud is threaded, which TMS would be able to tell me, if they ever replied to e-mails.

It seems like you really couldn't run more than a 5mm spacer with the 70.5mm studs (not that I want to run any spacers at all, but I'm just surprised). They could easily thread a bit more of the nose and make them suitable for more spacer...
