When did the 2018 M2 base MSRP from BMW N.A. go from $53,500 to $54,500?

It's on the BMWUSA web site today, January 14th, 2018.

I think this is the third increase on the M2 since its inception.

It makes it easier for the consumer to digest the future price increase of the pending AND ICONIC 2019 S55 M2 !!!!!!

The M2 base/option pricing has increased almost $3000 since I ordered mine in December, 2016 (2017 Model year). That helps offset some of the depreciation.

If the US$ keeps sinking like a rock, you might get back more than you paid for the car at the time of resale! Only problem is that a bottle of Beaujolais will cost you $75, and steak will cost $37.50/lb

The current M2 is not only iconic, but has wonderful soul and character without needing any drivetrain change.

The weak dollars is the biggest reason for option and engine changes on the M2.
