M2 orders and discount

has anyone been able to get a discount on the M2 in the USA?
or the Euro Delivery price? I am thinking of getting one in the next month and just started the shopping. Please advise if you know.

Robert

So far as I can say, MSRP at this point. And for ED it is almost non-existent aka dealers just say "meh" even at ED MSRP plus $1k.

GL out there.

I was able to get Euro MSRP and unfortunately had to change my order to US delivery at US MSRP.

So Euro MSRP deals are out there if you can find them.

Also, build dates are starting to extend into Nov/Dec. Some have been lucky however.

If you get an M2, will you change your screen name?

[edit] I'm going to register M2chiavellif87, but will sell it to you!

LOL, I guess you are lucky not living among Amazoners, deals are harder to come by here in Amazon land.
They only need to sell fewer than 70 shares of AMZN and it's a new M2.

That's OK, with less incentives etc I just hang on to my ole BMW for now.

Search the ED threads and ask those guys about how they got it. The only discount I've heard of is really the fleet discount that is going away. Without having a hookup it's going to be hard to beat MSRP right now unless you make a significant loss on a trade in or add on a bunch of port installed options that also give them profit.

Fleet on M2 was taken away back in April 2017, some lucky bunch who got production number before that still honored by BMWNA. No fleet discount for ED cars regardless.

ok, thanks for letting me know. I guess I just needed to know. My next step is to find out about ED and if that doesn't work, I am just going to pay msrp for an 18.

I'd worry about finding an available allocation first.

I think USAA still has a 2k discount if you're a member.

^^^ This. The USAA $2k discount is valid for the duration of the calendar year, but you need to be a member.

2017 BMW M2  [0.00]
1976 BMW 2002  [0.00]

I got ED MSRP locked in before the March price increase because I had a signed PO / an agreement with CA and manager. Also filled out BMWCCA $500 rebate after picking up the car.

Yes, I just picked up my M2 last week at PCD. I paid MSRP minus the $2K USAA discount.

I got MSRP with $2,500 off through my company. I don't think much better than that.

Yup, you are the lucky few before BMWNA pulls the plug on corporate fleet discount.
I guess USAA is different, I thought that one was part of fleet pool as well.

I bought one a few weeks ago. New car sitting on the lot at an out of town dealer. Was able to get the USAA $2K plus another $2K on top of that.

I also found quite a few offers for ED MSRP when I was looking, a couple who were local but without immediately available allocations. I found others non-local who had allocations and no issues with ED at MSRP and had a deposit down at a couple of dealers for just that. When allocations opened up for 2018's, I got the opportunity to purchase but decided to put off my purchase for the time being until the spring.

I think I got that no-ED line from one dealer who I simply ignored after hearing that.

To clarify: What exactly is ED MSRP? Do you mean the ED discount of 5% off MSRP?

I'm interested and researching ED on an M2. From what I read, ED is 5% lower than invoice or MSRP. So when you negotiate ED, are you targeting 5% off MSRP basically? I'll keep searching for my answers

Yes, the ED MSRP is 5% off the base price of the M2 - it's on the BMW USA website (there's a link in the Euro Delivery section to a PDF with the prices, though it probably doesn't reflect the Jan 1 price increase. But you can do the math.).

I just asked my CA (when I was ordering mine) if they would honor the ED price and they said yes.
