Eventuri Carbon Fiber Engine Cover for the BMW M2 F87

I picked this up from the team at IND not sure if it's on the site yet but I believe they have them in stock.

Everyone can use more carbon fiber.....

Items that you will need - BMW Logo - part # 11 14 7 788 967 (this is not the same part number on our BMW M2 Engine cover)

You will also need to pull the rubber grommets (total 3) out of the oem engine cover and put them into the carbon fiber cover as well as the insulation. Pics below.

Since I'm a bit ocd I went ahead and used the Rupes Ibrid Short Neck with the Rupes Yellow Pad and Jeffscar Micro Finishing Polish (coming soon) to remove some of the hazing left behind from possibly the wetsanding and compounding after the clear coat was sprayed. I went ahead and polished it out to remove the haze and bring out the shine. Following it with 2 layers of Nanolex SI3D HD ; )

Haze on the CF Engine Cover

Polishing the haze out

I opted to remove the Eventuri decal.....
Probably should have removed them first before polishing

BMW Roundel Emblem

Used Nanolex EX to prep the CF Engine Cover for Nanolex SI3D HD

A nice thick coat of Nanolex SI3D HD goes on

After

Swapping out the grommets and insulation from the OEM Engine Cover

OEM Engine Cover
Back of Engine Cover with Rubber Grommets and Insulation

Pulling out the insulation from OEM Cover

Back of the CF Cover
Installed rubber grommets

Without insulation

Before with OEM Engine Cover

Guess you got some insider deal on that brake kit; don't tell me you spent $17,000 on a brake kit for an M2! Why not opt for a set of ceramics from an M4? Not only cheaper, at least no brake dust and no fade. I've heard of a few grand on a BBK, but $17k???

Beautiful. Nicely done. Everything is on point and you spared no detail. Love it

Question please - where do you have the m perf coilovers set at in terms of height? It appears to be at the lowest setting front and rear, true? Did u have to worry about adjustments to get the perfect corner balance or did u just set them at their lowest position and left it there?

I am in process of installing and curious where to set the height. I love how your car looks so would love your advice.

Thanks for sharing this build with pics and details!

Btw. I think those 6 piston Brembos are fantastic. Exactly what I would've done. Fuck the m4 pccb's. I took that shit off my gt3 and threw steels on.

Fronts = $4,595.00
Rears = $3,795.00
---------------------
$8390

Total no where near the ceramics, which I was tossing around with the idea.

thank you.

lowest setting plus, to get the look we wanted we did not install the rear adjusters, yes I know crazy but it was put in and it was just as high as the stock set up. the front was the pretty close to the lowest setting, everything else was set to what bmw stated in the manual.

pm or email if you have more questions.
