When did you actually pay for everything?

I noticed in another thread somebody paid for their car with tax a few weeks before it showed up but then already had another M2? Weird problem, but I'm just wondering when you paid up for everything?

I have an order in and the dealer said we'll take care of it when you come in and take the car.

That's what my CA told me as well. I guess I'll know for sure in a few weeks! If you are financing with a bank, just make sure that the final price is locked in (including taxes and fees) and that you close on the note prior to going to the dealership.

I'm supposed to pick my car up in two days and I still have not paid for it. Supposed to do all the paperwork the day I get it. My SA says they can't produce an official invoice for the car for my credit union until they receive it. It's supposed to arrive from VPC tomorrow.

What rate did you CU give you? I just did the 2.95 bmw FS to keep it simple.

Paid in full 2 days before delivery so that the money would be in their account on time. I could have gone there to see the car before paying, then do the bank transfer, wait until the money was wired and then pick it up... but I couldn't be bothered with it.

Try Penfed. As long as you have decent credit 1.99 is no problem. Then my dealer was good to me and beat that rate.

BMW Financial has 0.9% for 72 months..

I had PenFed approval at 1.49% but BMWFS offered .9 and ocked that rate a month before the car was delivered.

I was doing a Performance Delivery on a Thursday and the Tuesday that same week I was at the dealer signing all paperwork for it.

If picking up at the dealer I would think you can sign all same day picking it up.

2.95 is the best they're giving me now. When was the 0.9?

Got it around July-Aug.. at least the application was submitted and approved at that time and that % was locked in at that moment. Then I just waited for the car which arrived in September and finalized paperwork then.

I paid on delivery day: brought a check with me and we finalized the amount when I took the keys.
