I was just at BMW Manhattan. The sticker price was at MSRP but I didn't ask about a mark up. Isn't it typically posted on the window sticker as "market adjustment"?

Week 31.

And yes, I realize outlook/icalendar read that as the last week in July. But the BMW ordering system reads it as August. As do all of the internet calendars not the ones mentioned.

Yours should be in 112 by now then. I just checked and my week 33 is already in 112.

What does the automated number say for your car in status 112? I am still "no confirmed production date yet".

Just came from Center BMW in Sherman Oaks. They are already on the list but they have a decked out Carbon accessorized AW/DCT. $63k sticker. They took $10K over sticker for the first one they sold, now they're asking $20k over! SMH.

That's what mine says. I might have to call the actual genius hotline and get them to give me updates. Last I knew it was 111 but I haven't actually checked on status updates via dealer or genius, just the automated phone number.

This morning I was able to add the vehicle to the website.

Phone number still says no confirmed production date and it's in order documented status on the website which I guess is 112.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You'd have to either contact your CA or Genius to have them look it up.

Crevier BMW had a blue one in this week. Went back to see it and salesman said it sold at $10K over MSRP. Says they sell them at $10K over MSRP

One for the uk market, £53k for a manual with what looks like not a lot of extras. List price would be around £45-£46k. Shocking!

BMW of Escondido

I bought the white M2 they had there.

Paid MSRP + carbon fiber accessories. They removed the 5k "market" adjustment because I simply told them if they removed the 5k, I would purchase it immediately.

Guess it was my lucky day. Its worth simply asking and being a serious/ready buyer.

What's the worst over sticker you've seen?

Here in the uk a used DCT car is listed with specialist 3rd party dealers at about £53k, I'd say £6k over new RRP

BMW of San Francisco 18k over
BMW of Santa Maria 5k over (edit - my previous figure was wrong)
BMW of Palm Springs 8k over
BMW of Henderson 5k over
BMW of Tucson 5k over

basically every dealership in LA and San Diego is over msrp

i also have entire spreadsheet of west coast waitlist length + expected wait time (as speculated by sales guy I was speaking to) if anyone is interested

I called yesterday guy told me "last one we sold was 12 over" and I hung up maybe I didn't let him get to the "next allocation we're getting will only be 5 over" part

Unfortunately many client advisors are not really aware of what's going on and it's kind of the nature of the business (I know it sucks). I'm I client advisor (and enthusiast) at BMW of Santa Maria and I personally sold the first one we got for $5k over. Our dealership owner wants/wanted to do $12k over but both my new car manager and I pushed him into something more realistic/fair and keep it simple to first come first serve. The next one (which is available and currently at the port) I'm offering for $5k over as well (pm me for details in interested).
I'm sorry if thread jacking as that's not my intention.
