The instructions don't actually say - they just show a diagram of the adjuster with the spring seat pointing down.
Looking at the instructions for KW V3 and the Ohlins BMS MR40, they both show the adjuster at the top (the Ohlins explicitly makes the point that the standard upper spring seat has to be removed to fit the adjuster). |

OP I noticed in your picture that your front rebound adjustment is covered by the rubber cover - mine is the same way. (#2 in the diagram in the PDF linked above)
How do you get access to the rebound selector? I've tried pushing the rubber as far up as it will go, but still cannot access the rebound. I'm considering just cutting a hole in the rubber for access... |

Am running in a 3 day rally next weekend and am working through adjustment and set up on the 3 way system on the rally car (40 clicks on slow bump). Then have the M5 launch at the track. Lucky enough to be invited - should be a few other M cars there to sample too. |

I did actually go back and check with the installing tech at the dealer and he insists that the installation is correct. Sorry I didn't post this earlier.

I just installed the M Performance Suspension in my buddies M2c and indeed you installed the rear adjuster collars on the bottom they should be at the top. You remove your old rear top spring perch mount and the M Performance adjuster collars sits in that hole.

Question, how easy is it to adjust the settings? Do things need to be removed ?

Rear's I have not adjusted yet. Less room in the rear for the spanner wrench though.

Very easy if you don't drive somewhere that puts rock salt on the roads for several months per year (the lower front adjusters might seize).
Unless you have short arms or an aversion to putting your hands in the wheel wells while either crouching next to the car and/or lying on the ground. Having a jack will improve clearance, but isn't totally necessary. HTH |
