Take the US fee, double it, then put a GST and Provincial tax on it, and you will be in the ballpark :-)

One thing I would say is negotiate your freight. I have seen anywhere from $2995 to $4995. I have shipped a car across Canada. It costs about $2K.

At least in calgary both dilawri dealerships specify 595 admin fee, 100 ac tax, 16 tire tax. Freight and pdi in both dealership here is 2995 on non m cars. 3500 or 3600 on m cars. And they don't budge on fees specifically. That's why I got my car from Kelowna. Fair discount and fees were less. |

I have first allocation at 2 dealers in Vancouver for a M2C, I asked about the dealer fees at the time and was told that they wouldn't be able to move on them, they were wanting 4700 for freight/PDI and dealer fees. As for the current M2, I walked out the door with a good discount and all of the BS fees removed on an OTD price so I took it and ran.

They are not allowed to charge more. But I doubly Bmw Canada cares. It’s unfortunate that this is routine with BMW. Mercedes dealers don’t play these games, at least not in Canada (or maybe I’ve been unlucky/lucky). |

He explained to me the additional money was for the dealer to cover the break-in service. I don’t buy that because I would think BMW reimburses the dealer for this.
