I'm sorry no. I used to use photobucket years ago but not even sure about them now. I can post some photos here. U want to see if they stick out of the fender? It doesn't. Yes original tires. I'll take some photos from the rear to see the "stretch".

Or you could send them to my email, or phone if it's easier. Love the look of the Anthracite on LBB, and I'm thinking of putting my PSS on the wider 9.5/10.5, and that's what you did, right? Looks good to me.

My apologies for the dirty car. I realize many would cringe to see that. 😬 but in haste, here it is. Apex BMW standard size or stock pilot super sport (I can’t wait to finish) tires. No spacers. They are 19x9 & 19x10 ET40.

Tried to copy the same angle as m2ss. I like his position better. Looks like mine would need 10mm spacer to make it similar.

If I had gone with 10.5, would that have resulted to it being more flush to the fender? I just didn’t understand the whole width and ET40 stuff all too well. So went with the 100% sure.
M2SS, you’re on 10mm all around? You said future so I thought you’re just planning it.

In any case, once you have those numbers you can extrapolate from there. 19 x 9 + 17 with a 8.4 tw 19 x 10 +30 with a 9.4 tw Then you just use a calculator like willtheyfit.com to translate to whatever width of wheel you want. To get the same fitment as above with 9.5 & 10.5 it looks like this: 19 x 9.5 + 24 with an 8.4 tw tire 19 x 10.5 +37 with an 9.4 tw tire However, this results in even more stretch to the tire sidewall than stock, which is where people get in trouble with trying to do standard calculations on tire sizes without taking the specific tire tread widths into account. The difference between a 245 and 255 should be 10mm, but it's not. In fact, I can find you many 245's that are WIDER than other 255's, so you MUST take into account the specific tire you're looking for and its tread widths. We have tirerack to thank for providing this information on most tires. All of that is to say that generally, you can use... 9.5 + 22/23/24/25/26/27/28 10.5 +35/36/37/38/39/40/41/42/43/44/45 All will fit, depending on the specific tire/drop/suspension/camber you choose. Any modification to any of those parameters will result in you having to tailor your wheel offset. And now you see the rabbit hole. |
