You don't see the DCT knob and blue contrast stitching on the seat?

Seat extender... does that mean they will not be like the M3/M4 seats? since those don't have extenders. Still hoping for the one piece backs.

Looks like M235i seats to me. The stitching pattern also follows the same as this one, rather than the M3/4 seats

Well yeah I see that haha. I wasn't considering that as something different although technically it is. But that was already known.

Well I guess the whole bespoke/unique seat talk is just contrast stitching? The Sport Line 228i has contrast stitching. Why all the talk of unique seats and covers over the test mules if it's the same damn seats you get on any other BMW with a bit of help from Ish at West Coast Customs???

Surely it won't just have the M235i seats with blue stitching???

I'm feeling pretty pleased with my F80 purchase right now

Seriously, even the S3 and AMG CLA45 have optional seats over the standard sport seats. The S3 can get the RS3 style seats, while the AMG gets Recaros. And those cars are aimed at the M235i as competition. The M2 should not be upstaged by a factory optioned S3!

Yeah, and it was disappointing to a degree. I had one and loved it, but it wasn't a good thing.

The seats being standard 235 seats to me being ok is highly dependent on price.

The 1m didn't have the cf roof, a special motor, or special seats. But it was like 46k and a lot cheaper than an m3. Let's see what this costs

Without those features, I have zero interest at a price any higher than 50k ish. :twocents:

Agreed. But I think in the 40s is a little unrealistic IMO. Now something like 52k MSRP would make sense to me. That's still a good $10k cheaper than an M3 (again MSRP).

All I want to see is this kind of review. It's much more important to me than the seats, the hood and the CF roof. We shall see:

P.S. I'm way more pissed about not being able to get cloth seats

dont see the point of having the seats covered if its only hiding the blue stitching, something doesnt add up here..did they cover the 1M seats??? i guess only time will tell

Interesting re: the DCT, is that the button for the shift setting seems to be absent, just looks like a blank to me???

Hoping at the very least, the blue stitching matches the light blue M stitching on the steering wheel. Can't imagine it having three shades of blue on the inside, LBB and the cobalt M blue on the calipers outside. Thing would just float into the sky on a sunny day and never come back.
