Yes, mine do, but still. And they are supposedly from a "reputable" company, but they didn't warn me about this incompatibility. Like I mentioned, I learned the hard way, and later on read up on a document on tuner Motorsport that confirmed my speculation that the 10mm won't fit "properly" in the front.

From Turner's website:
Wheel Spacer Tech & FAQ How To Measure for Spacers Wheel Spacer Encyclopedia - everything you wanted to know A note about 10mm spacers: Any 10mm spacer is considered a custom fitment. The stock hubcentric lip on BMWs can stick out by as much as 11mm. A 10mm spacer will bottom-out and leave a gap between the spacer and the hub which seriously compromises safety. The best way around this is using a larger spacer (12mm and larger do not have this issue) or check that the lip sticks out less than 10mm. In some cases you can modify the hub lip to get the 10mm spacer to fully seat on the hub. |

i purchased and installed spacers from Burger tuning over the weekend (12mm up front and 10mm in rear). No issues whatsoever. I even reached out to them re these concerns and there is nothing to worry about.

Was interested in why you were suggesting 10mm wasn't right. BruceM's explains it. Like you, I was thinking 10mm but will now reconsider. Thanks for promoting a good thread conversation. |

I went with these based on everyone elses set up and experience so its a bit disconcerting to hear that 10mm might not fit on the back now. Can someone please clear this up for us ignorant folk!?? |

Some (many) brands of </= 10mm spacers have a ridge on the inside of the spacer lip that is intended to seat the hat lip but will prevent the spacer from seating completely on the hat on cars with elongated hub lips like the M2 = wobble/vibration. It is possible to modify these type of spacers by having a machine shop grind down that ridge. Since the M2 hub lip (on my car) measures 12mm, it could be a potential problem for spacers up to 12mm thick but conventional wisdom says it is problem for spacers constructed in this manner 10 mm and less. The issue or "problem" is the M2/3/4 have slotted hub lips that are atypically long- with reports up to 14mm. Great for wheel assembly strength, not great for spacers that are not constructed with this in mind.
The Turner spacers have solved this issue by having integrated hub lip extenders. Turner therefore will seat completely flush against the hat = no wobble/vibration. This is all explained in detail on the Turner website. I am not here to promote Turner or bash any other brand, but not all 10mm spacers are plug n play like Turner..... if you were holding the two types of spacers in your hand it would be blatantly obvious but damn it is hard to convey easily in words !
