Be real. It should not require more than an hours drive just to reach decent driving roads. Anything else decent is few and far between. This isn't SoCal. (I compromised too much on "practical" with the TTRS; I want an M2 now because it has usable back seats, and because RWD / good weight balance.)

Heh, my point was just that I'm past the days of "i don't care how loud the exhaust is or how hard the car rides," especially since it's also my DD. I like a little bit of luxo with my performance... which is why I'm waiting for an M2 rather than buying a BRZ and modding the shit out of it.

Yes, but on the M2 you get 19" wheels and leather seats included. Add those and it's 44.6% difference. ;-) (if you accept dakota instead of merino)

In reality the difference is a bit more because the M4 have more options available. Adaptive suspension, HUD...
