habsnation a breakdown of your $6948 "options" would be ideal:
- MPE 3500 - Carplay? - Freight/PDI? - Admin Fee? - Ride Green? - Wheel Locks? - Gas? Also, why are you putting down 9 security deposits? Keep the 8 security deposits and place them in a TFSA account with bank stocks and hold them long. Do you currently own a BMW? You may be entitled for a loyalty rate discount of 0.75% |

I'm afraid the dealer is charging you $3750 over MSRP before negotiations (sand bag)
MSRP should only be 63,500 (67250-63500=3750) Your options list of $6948 might be broken down like this: (Ask for a breakdown) - MPE $3500 - Carplay $750 - Freight/PDI $2173 - Ride Green $300 - Wheel Locks $150 - Gas $75 Your admin is $400.58 You can do much much better... unless there are caveats you are not telling us |

thank you canadian driver for your replies.
i raised that question to him (about the msrp) and he gave me a vague response, i will defiantly address that now. I'm also hoping to negotiate on the options. |

That's a decent quote. Parkview and BMW Toronto dealer charges $2430 in freight/PDI (extra $335) They pad fees (some bogus) heavily upfront to make customers feel they are getting a discount when in fact they are not.
Like most customers I'm tired of the car dealership model. This industry is truly ripe for disruption. Tesla started it but their pricing is not mainstream yet (rant over) |
